Juhu Beach, Mumbai (Landmark Review)

Title – The hub of Masti, Pao-Bhaji and Golas
Rating – 3 (Average)

On the evening of 23rd Oct, 2015, we decided to go to Juhu Beach, Mumbai, our first destination to explore during our Mumbai Tour. Juhu beach is located on the shores of Arabian Sea. One of the most popular tourist attractions and favorite place for shooting of bollywood movies. Juhu beach is one of the most famous beaches of Mumbai from tourism as well as commercial point of view. Lot of people visit there every day. It’s the main tourist point with beach side eatery shops where one can enjoy Pao Bhaji (starting from Rs. 90 per plate), Paani Poori, snacks and Golas (starting from Rs. 40/- per Gola).

The beach was over crowded due to some Pooja and immersing of Idols was going on there but that’s also something that we witnessed during our visit and enjoyed watching them performing their rituals and worships.

The sad and disheartening part was that the beach is not maintained at all and due to high footfall and lot of commercial activities it is becoming filthy day by day. Local management should ensure effective measures to preserve this great site by doing efforts for its cleanliness and beautification.

We enjoyed our evening at Juhu Beach eating Pao Bhaji, sipping Kala Khatta Gola and clicking our pictures. Jeeyooo… (Visited on 23rd Oct. 2015)
